It was either cheap and poor quality or way too expensive for what it was...
Laser plywood didn't exist.
SO WE CREATED IT!
But let's start the story from the beginning...
MY STORY
My name is Vincent,
I have been self-employed in a SASU for 6 years.
I initially started because I was working in
a Montessori school and I was making by hand
educational materials that educators
asked me.
I was advised to go to a Fablab for
expand my skills in terms of
design and manufacturing.
From there I modeled and prototyped my first
models.
This was followed by a market study, the creation
of the company and then putting my online
e-commerce site specializing in hardware
educational kit.
I quickly expanded my offering to produce
custom cutting and engraving for
professionals and individuals.
THE GALLEY...
These years of entrepreneurship have not been a long, quiet river...
Far from it!
Particularly in terms of wood supply, which has always been a source of stress:
- Not knowing when you will be delivered (plan ahead to order weeks in advance)
- Take out a lot of cash at once
- Receiving unusable wood with laser
- To be delivered in full panels of 2.50 x 1.20 m (not at all practical to unload and store)
And so on!
